The number of people cycling in the city of London has grown in recent years because

-people want to avoid crowed buses or tubes
-the cost of public transport
-there are better bicycles and they are cheap
-there are safer roads for cyclists
-It is allowed to cycling in bus lanes
-it's quicker and healthy

Over one million Londoners own bicycles. In 2010 there will be a Central London bike hire scheme, new cycling routes and extra parking facilities. When I came here, I was impressed by these signs, all of them are different. Now I realise there will be more and more signs, people need to park their bike anywhere.
